Those 22 intense precipitation case in Bulgaria are selected by Anastasia Stoycheva from the Operational Weather Prediction Department of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. They are analysed by Nadezhda Yordanova.

Case 1: January 6-7 2012. Wide spread precipitation, at many places substantial. On 6th ofJanuary mainly rain and on 7th snow. Snow cover formed.
